Asset Recovery Specialist responsible for working with customers who have severely delinquent loans and work together to define a 'workout' and/or 'repayment' plan. The ARS will close out loans through 'wrapping them up' with the Small Business Administration ("SBA"), transferring them to Real Estate Owned, and/or have them paid in full or restructured and returned to the Portfolio Administration Group for further action. Focus will be on loans of $300K or larger. Negotiate debt restructuring terms, prepare approval documents, and review legal and closing documents. Must have good understanding and knowledge of SBA products/vernacular. SBA Lending experience preferred, underwriting experience a plus.
